Is it true that you have to have perfect vision inoreder to ve a pilot?

The requirements to fly in the Air Force, heavy or fighter aircraft, is simply correctable to 20/20. Be careful about getting surgery because the Air Force will only approve certain surgeries and some of them are still in the test phase. There is no ';preference'; as some put it.Is it true that you have to have perfect vision inoreder to ve a pilot?
No, but you must have vision that can be correctable to 20/20 via glasses, contacts, surgery if you wish to become a pilotIs it true that you have to have perfect vision inoreder to ve a pilot?
20/20 Corrective lenses, to become a civil/cargo pilot, in order to fly Fighter Jets 20/10 uncorrected is preferred.
i'm assuming it is 20/20 in both eyes-

i am blind in 1 eye--but the other is correctable--i doubt i could be a pilot
Maybe in the Service but civilian's can wear glasses to correction- I know some who have their own planes
