How can people have terrifying visions of Hellfire if Ecclesiastes 9:5 is true ?

Such as Bill Weise ';23 Minutes in Hell'; or Maurice Rawlings ';Beyond Death's Door';How can people have terrifying visions of Hellfire if Ecclesiastes 9:5 is true ?
because they have missinterpreted the bibleHow can people have terrifying visions of Hellfire if Ecclesiastes 9:5 is true ?
While your examples (the books you mention) are likely not true representations of life after death, the Ecclesiastical writer is clearly being poetic. We do not forget the dead as he says, do we? He is trying to make the point that life has little meaning (apart from the spiritual).
Jesus said in

Luke 20:37-38

Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.20:38For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
Even perfectly normal people sometimes see things that are not there.

Imagine the things that people who are NOT perfectly normal see.
Follow the money. It's usually being transported by frightened, gullible sheep.
Because book deals make them rich.
