It was more true back with tube tvs specially if you sit to close to it. That's why I went with plasma cause i notice that my eyes did not get as tired as it did with tubes and LCD tv's.Is it true that sitting in front of the tv ruins vision?
If you sit 5 inches in front of it, then yes. Sit back about 8 feet to prevent from this from happening. I wear glasses because I ignored my mom telling me to sit farther away from the television.
