Is it true that if you have a bad vision and don't go to an eye doctor that later on you will become blind?

Not necessarily, but why risk it?Is it true that if you have a bad vision and don't go to an eye doctor that later on you will become blind?
Who told you that? I bet it wasn't an optometrist. They can't make such general statements. Is it true that if you have a bad vision and don't go to an eye doctor that later on you will become blind?
It really depends on what is wrong with your eyes. If you are

merely near or far sighted glasses will improve your vision.

If it it glaucoma and it goes untreated, YES you will go blind.

Cateracts cause a clouding under the lenses and this is caused

by diabetes and other illnesses. This requires surgery to remove

the cloud or unclear vision, then a new lense in implanted to correct the vision.

GET YOUR EYES EXAMINED!!!! IT IS IMPORTANT!!!
No you won't go blind, but you'll have a mighty tough time seeing the things you want to see.

Go get an eye exam. There is no pain involved. And if your vision is off, the doc will write a prescription for either glasses or contacts.
