Is it true that your vision gets worse if you dont get glasses? or does it just stay the same?

Yes it does. especially for astigmatism. I had -50 astignatism in high school and refused to wear glasses. Now i'm in my twenties and have -375 astigmatism. If I only knew this would happen, I would've followed my doc's advice. Is it true that your vision gets worse if you dont get glasses? or does it just stay the same?
I don't know if this is typical or not, but mine has gotten worse every year and I have worn contacts for 15 yearsIs it true that your vision gets worse if you dont get glasses? or does it just stay the same?
Everyone knows that it is the glasses that make your eyes worse. Once you start, it is very difficult to stop wearing them.

It's the same thing with shaving. Once you start, youll have to do it for the rest of your natural life.
There we go again. Almost the same question every couple of days...

YOUR EYES WILL NOT GET BETTER OR WORSE WHETHER YOU WEAR GLASSES OR NOT.

Your vision is determined by physical changes within the eye. A spectacle lens in front of your eye is not going to change the physical condition of your eye.

All glasses can do is help you see better by focusing the light as it enters your eye in the way that was determined by the exam.

Whether you wear them or not makes absolutely no difference in how your vision will change.
Glasses or no glasses, your vision is decided by the shape of your eyeball. If it is too long, or the cornea is too steep, you will be nearsighted. If it too short, or the cornea is too flat, you will be farsighted. Only surgery can correct this. Nothing else you can do will alter the shape of your eyes.
