Is it true that if you sit to close to the t.v. you will lose your vision?

Partially yes. Not only are there very faint radio and magnetic waves/fields that can cause adverse effects, sitting so close to anything can cause problems. I mean if your eyes need to focus and your so close you might be near-sighted. I would have a doctor give you an eye test as to not further injure your eyes.Is it true that if you sit to close to the t.v. you will lose your vision?

No ,an old wife's tale.
my optometrist said no,but computer screens and tv screens can make your eyes tired and irritated, even blur your vision temporarily, thats why they have anit glare lenses, the only thing that determines how bad your eyes will be is genetics, and eye conditions and diseases.
Yes it is bad for your eyes. also, no matter how little, there are other types of emmissions that are harmful to our body.
no thats actually proven to be a myth. I saw it on Primetime Live that comes on abc on friday nights at 10 pm
Heck no.
No. Back then since (1959) parents scared their kids in to thinking that ';If you sit to close to the T.V., you will lose your vision.'; Parents say that to their kids so they don't even think about watching T.V. So kids go out side and enjoy the fresh-air.
no that is not true
Yes its true because the tv reslelution will be high compartively with computer monitor. it effects the eyes a lot.
It strains your eyes, which changes the shape of your eyes over time, which then leads to poorer eyesight.
That's what my mom always told me. Apparently it also applies to computer screens.
