Depends on who you ask.


Very strict fundamentalists will say that visions and psychicism are from the Devil. However, if we look at the Bible, that is clearly not true, as God revealed Himself in dreams and visions throughout it to people, so that argument falls flat.


I think that everyone has some psychic ability. It isn't ';supernatural';, it is part of our makeup, and we don't understand or use a vast percentile of the brain.


If we look at quantum physics, it supports this claim, as everything is interconnected at a quantum level.


Also, people can be evaluated by psychiatry or psychology to determine if their visions are a result of mental illness. In the bible it exists but it can come from either. You need to know which ones are the right way and wrong. Prophets are usually those that belong to God and see the future through God while astrologists, mediums, and others may see it and it comes from spirits and other stuff usually from Satan. While it it possible that a ';psychic'; could be a prophet of God, most psychics I have heard about/from, even those claiming a Christian faith, generally have some very unchristian ideas and/or beliefs. While I am of the opinion that the majority of them are getting their information from Satanic sources (knowingly or not), I am open to the idea of God gifting someone in this way. You would have to take what they have to say (as you would with any prophesy) and compare it to the known word of God and see if it is consistent or inconsistent.
There are no ';true'; psychics, it is impossible to 'see' future events before they occur, and Satan and God are bronze age myths - they don't exist. Oh, and for the record there are also no ghosts, vampires, demons, trolls, elfs, smurfs or any other sort of mythological creatures.

Whilst your question makes no sense, I'm going to go out on a limb and respond that there is no reason to connect Satan or God with the occult, other than a medieval mentality.
