Is it true that carrots are good for your vision?

my vision is really bad and i heard that carrots can improve your vision, especially carrot juice and i wanted to know if this is really true and how better can my vision get if i drink one cup of carrot juice everyday? can drinking a lot of carrot juice have a second side effect?

Carrots can not reverse bad vision that's a refractive error it's not curable unless you get laser surgery but they can help those with vision problems at night as that can be a sign of a beta carotene/vitamin A deficiency. Carrots are good for maintaining heath of your eyes.
i never really believed that carrots improve your vision i thought it was just a saying. although i dont really know but i doubt it
