Is it true that, eating carrots improve your vision?

Just wanted to no.Is it true that, eating carrots improve your vision?
Its not directly related to your vision, but healthy eye development and growth needs Vitamin C, and other things. Apparently, carrots are the highest source of such things your eyes need to keep healthy.

therefore, eating carrots improves your vison, so they say.Is it true that, eating carrots improve your vision?
It's a myth; the story that carrots can improve night vision was invented by British intelligence during World War 2. Rumours were circulated that British RAF pilots were fed carrots to help them see in the dark in the hope that to the Germans it would appear to be the case that they could see in the dark following a number of night-time raids. The story was invented so the Germans wouldn't be alerted to the fact that the allies had radar.

It has its roots in fact though - carrots are high in beta-carotene which is converted into Vitamin A in the body. A deficiency of vitamin A can cause night blindness.
Wholesome carrots contain all the essential nutrients to keep your eyes healthy. Carrots also cure most ailments.

The whole carrots improve your eyes was a rumor started by the British air command in WWII. It was so the NAZIs would think that the watchmen were eating carrots instead of using the newly invented top secret RADAR.
Yes. The Beta Carotene in the carrots, is a chemical that your body changes into one that it can absorb. It helps improve your eye vision, and it can actually turn you skin orange, but only in VERY large excess amounts. A cup a day will do nothing!
It's a mixed answer. It contains nutrients that if you didn't get them, even from another source, your eye sight will fail. If you already are getting your nutrients from another source, eating carrots will not help.
Yes they are very good for your vision. They are also good for other stuff too. But it can also turn you orange if you eat too much.
Yes- If you cut a carrot in half it kind of looks like the iris of the eye.
